Some weddings stay with you long after the music fades and the sparklers go out. For me, Kristina and Isaac’s day was one of those. A celebration five years in the making—filled with love, intention, and the kind of emotion that makes this job the dream that it is.
Kristina and Isaac were originally married in 2020 during the height of COVID. Like many couples that year, they made the hard choice to say “I do” without the big celebration they had imagined. No guests, no dance floor, no full wedding party. But what they did have was something unshakable: their love for each other.
So when they reached out to me for their 5th anniversary, they had one request:
“We want to celebrate this day like it was our actual wedding day.”
And that’s exactly what we did.

💍 A Day Reimagined, Five Years Later
From the moment I arrived, the energy felt just like a wedding morning—excited, joyful, full of anticipation. Kristina slipped into the most stunning gown, her eyes full of emotion. Isaac waited nearby, unaware of the exact moment he’d turn around and see her again as his bride.
Their first look was the kind that gives you goosebumps. The way Isaac looked at her—it wasn’t just admiration. It was the look of someone who had loved deeply for five years and was falling in love all over again. I couldn’t help but smile behind the camera.

📸 Capturing What Was Missed—and So Much More
We treated this day like the wedding it was always meant to be. We captured couples portraits, full wedding party photos, and family portraits—many of whom couldn’t be there the first time around.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful—full of heartfelt moments, meaningful glances, and joyful tears. This time, their loved ones were there to witness it all.
And when the sun set, we ended the day with what every great wedding deserves: a dance party full of laughter, love, and celebration.

❤️ What Stays With Me
I photograph a lot of weddings—but what I’ll remember most from this day is the deep respect and love Kristina and Isaac have for each other. Five years in, and the spark was still alive. Their connection, their gratitude, their joy—it was all so real.
It reminded me of why I do this. Why preserving moments matters. Why even five years later, it’s never too late to celebrate your love fully and unapologetically.
I’m so lucky they invited me into this story.
And even luckier that I got to help tell it.
